Recommendable Companies:

HP:

HP is a company that has been around for like forever and they have a few prebuilt options including the Victus line which replaced the Green Pavilion line up.

The Victus is that sweet sport where you always have a gamming graphics card and a really good CPU and not usually going over a thousand dollars. They are actually amazing for the price.

Downside:

They use proprietary hardware. This makes it similar to buying a console, it has room for upgrades but you kind of buy it to use it for its life then you get another PC.

Their price is one of the best in the market thus it is recommendable for those looking to get into PC gaming on a budget.

Amazon:

We give a shout to Amazon; they don’t really sell much of their own computers. It is not really recommendable to use Amazon for higher end builds because warranties can get really iffy.

 If you are on a budget, Amazon is a good option for the cheap RGB PCs like the 1660 supers for $300.

It is recommendable to go to the actual pre-book company if you are spending over $800, but if you want to get it off amazon, then check out the NZXT Build.

NZXT are known for having one of the best customer support and for having the cleanest and best working builds, they just work out of the box.

If you do want to build your own, they do offer a build service with great building instructions.

They have a wide range of different options and they show the estimated FPS on all your systems.

The NZXT do have budget options but they not the best value for money, to get the best value you spend $1000+ for an NZXT.

They are recommendable for a higher end gaming PC.

The big difference from Amazon is you can go in person to Best Buy and they are known for having some very decent warranty service.

They also have a Geek Squad who can repair your computer whenever it breaks.

At Best Buy you can get pre-built from companies like Cyberpower, Dell, HP. They stock pretty much everything.

Downside:

At times there is almost nothing in stock.

At best buy there are systems that are not priced very well and some that are really good discounted.

It is recommendable checking out their website to see what is shippable.

It is a big benefit to visit your local Best Buy as you can take advantage of an open box deal and save a ton of money on a good system.

Micro Center.

From micro center you can buy pre-builds or just buy the parts if you want to build your own PC or you can pic out the parts and have them build it for you.

Downside:

They don’t have as many stores like Best Buy which is pretty much everywhere.

Micro Center are a great option to consider as you can do really cheap builds using their discount deals or really high end builds through Micro Center.

You get great support, knowledgeable staff and everything to really make an awesome PC experience.

Non-Recommendable Companies:

All the secondhand websites like eBay, Let Go, Next Door, Offer Up, are the Companies to be careful with or stay away from if its your first time to get a prebuild.

 They can be a little sketchy at times and you can be scammed if you don’t pay a lot of attention as it is easy for people to put in parts that they don’t label correctly, they can sell a prebuild they are having issues with for full price too.
